BFT Sangiovese

The BFT: *Big Fun Trouble* Handpicked Yallingup grown Sangiovese from 22 year old vines, de-stemmed, wild fermented in stainless and rested for 12 months before being bottled unfined and unfiltered. This is a damn good drink of wine, so bright and juicy and rich in ripe red fruit with a bit of flesh on the bones. The palate has a terrific svelte texture, giving spicy strawberry, cherry, rhubarb, and musk. An easy and light smashable red with decent palate weight and warmth, those pencilly fine tannins that are the hallmark of well ripened Sangiovese but without them dominating.
