Cadelvento Rosato

Venturini Baldini

Venturini Baldini’s most highly awarded cuvée, the Cadelvento Rosato is a benchmark for the fast-emerging Rosé Lambrusco category. It pours powdery pink with a delicate perfume of rosehip and ripe plum. It glitters across the palate with a red berry profile that's somehow at once gentle and tart, like the feeling you get when you earn a sincere compliment. Its fruit profile is rich without being saccharine. It's clear that the Sorbara variety is well suited for this cuvée, being one of the Lambrusco varieties that boasts very thin skins. A real pleasure, the kind of wine that lengthens an afternoon.

This wine drinks like three different and equally beautiful wines at 4ºC, 7ºC, and 10ºC.

This wine was awarded 'Tre Bicchieri' by Gambero Rosso and given a Gold Medal at the Gilbert & Gaillard International Challenge and VinePair named this wine #13 on their 'Top 50 wines of 2020'.
