Cava Blanc Brut

Azimut

'Azimut' is the naval navigation term for the line between the sun & the sea, and what better way to describe this ideal seafood wine. The term evokes a very specific picture of the Mediterranean energy bound up in this bottle, the sunny disposition of bubbles and the celebration call for shellfish. Bright and fresh as expected, but full of mature white fruits and a lovely savoury note with a very small amount of residual sweetness. The palate is soft and elegant but very persistent. To be frank, these bubbles over deliver in terms of value. They're such a pleasure for drinkers of all levels. Lemon peel, lemon curd, toasted almonds, morning toast, and hint of white flowers. A perfect pairing partner for oysters, the acidity pairing perfectly with their precious brine, and for all manner of seafood dishes, the fine effervescence cleansing the palate for any creamy or buttery seafood dish without over powering the delicate flavours.
